This is the perfect kit to convert your AR-15 into a AR-47 / 7.62x39. It has everything you need to make the transition. We recommend using a handguard that is atleast 1" shorter than the barrel.
The Diamondback Firearms 7.62x39mm AR-15 Carbine Barrel is machined in house on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are thoroughly inspected at multiple stages of the build process to ensure quality. This 10” barrel is machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium Steel and is 6 groove button rifled to ensure consistent accuracy and has a 1:9.5 twist rate. The carbine length gas system is optimal for reliability with a short 7.62x39mm barrel. It is threaded 5/8x24 and features an 11 degree target crown. The final process is a salt bath Nitride finish for an added layer of protection.

This Kit comes with everything you need to complete your Bolt Carrier Group other than the Carrier itself. These are perfect kits to complete your 7.62x39 AR15 build. It includes an enhanced firing pin for reliable primer ignition. Standard firing pins do not protrude far enough to reliably set off 7.62x39 primers. This is one of the major drawbacks of building a 7.62x39 AR15. Our enhanced firing pins are made to replicate the firing pin protrusion of an AK47 and eliminate this issue. No need for heavier hammer springs for reliable ignition.

Gas Tube Specs:
Our Black Nitride gas tubes are made out of Mil-Spec 304 stainless steel and then are Nitride treated for greater heat resistance, corrosion resistance, and lower reflection. These gas tubes are great for all calibers, including .223, 5.56, 300 blackout, 5.45x39, 7.62x39 or any other AR15 variant. The low glare black gas tubes eliminate any glare underneath the hand guard. Black Nitride is also known as SBN, melonite, QPQ and so forth.
