    Rock Solid Dedicated 22LR Barrel

    I was expecting at least decent accuracy but was pleasantly surprised by a rock-solid performer. (Federal 45gr subs) I plan to buy another for a 2nd build

    Worth the wait!

    Was on a wait list for this and it was worth the wait. I know Ballistic Advantage makes a lot of the RTB Barrels, except for 22lr which I'm 99.9% sure is made by CMMG. Has run flawlessly for about 1,000 rounds with a CMMG 22lr bolt, Borebuddy 22lr quite collar, both CMMG and Black Dog Machine magazines, and a variety of ammo from 29 to 45 grains. Have taken it out to 50 yards and maintained groups under 1". I would suggest cleaning it before the first use, mine had a lot of manufacturer residue inside that I'm glad I removed before using it.

    So much fun!

    Finally got a chance to take my .22lr build out to play. My friend has a similar build with the RTB bolt and RTB slick side upper. After a sighting in our optics, we spent the next few hours going through several hundred rounds of cheap (and dirty) Thunderbolt ammo. I had two stove pipes when I tried to dump a mag too fast, but other than that, flawless! The barrel itself preformed spectacularly, hitting our 2.5 to 3” steel targets consistently from 25 yards out to 120 yards. We even stretched its legs and hit a paper target at 250 yards, about 6” off center (although I’d attribute this to luck). Amazing barrel for my new all time favorite gun!

    Amazingly Accurate

    Very accurate. Much better than a 5.56 barrel for 22LR.

    RTB .22 LR 9 inch barrel accuracy

    I built two dedicated AR 22LR, one with cmmg 16" and the other with this RTB 9 inch. After sighting in and shooting groups, at 25-35 yards, this barrel consistently achieved 1/4 inch groups, while the 16 inch CMMG was shooting 1/2 inch groups at same range. Wish I would have purchased two of these instead saving weight and money. Excellent Barrel with unexpected accuracy. No advantage wasting money on heavier or more expensive barrels. I was extremely pleased with the quality and accuracy of this RTB 9" Best Regards, Roger.

    Good barrel at the Right price

    Decided to assemble a 22LR AR upper and came to RTB as I remember seeing the parts on the site. Picked up their in-house brand (barrel and 22 BCG) on sale. Visually looks like they might be CMMG made for RTB, but no confirmation of that. Got it assembled yesterday and to the range this morning. Ran half a brick through it flawlessly. Yes, flawlessly. I was floored. Not even my M&P15-22 runs that well. Accuracy was good when I was doing my job. Threading looked good with zero PoI shift when my Axiom was mounted. I will definitely be back for a 4.5" barrel the next time they are on sale.
