2 of 5 CMMG Drop in .22 conversion kit February 2, 2020
Reviewer: Kyle Shafer from Joplin , MO United States
First few hundred rounds had lots of jams due to brass not ejecting properly, seemed to get better, maybe there was some break in needed.   My biggest concern was the amount of leading in my muzzle break and barrel after only a few hundred rounds.  I scraped my muzzle break out twice with a screw driver.  Both times I got chunks of lead roughly equivalent to the size of the lead in a .22 round.   I had a squib round that I pushed through the barrel with a cleaning rod and I realized that the bullet barely grips the rifling.  It pushed out with very little effort.  Maybe converting .556 to .22lr was a mistake.  Mags are difficult to load.  Side note I was using bulk ammo from Winchester, Federal and Remington.

4 of 5 Super fun. Mags are so so. November 13, 2019

The conversion itself is awesome. Many full binary mag dumps have been done and it cycles fine. The mags however are a huge PITA to load. Will be upgrading to run 15/22 mags soon.

4 of 5 Not quite a "drop in"... October 27, 2019
Reviewer: Peter Huestis from Bellevue, NE United States
Just finished a range session, 1.75" groups at 50 yds., best group of 4 ammo types, worst was about 4". Armalite M15A2 NM, 20" 1:7 barrel. Grouped 2" below my 5.56 load. No malfunctions of any kind in 200 rounds. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it didn't fit with the Armalite charging handle. Works fine with mil spec CH. This is a really well made and worthwhile accessory, and I have already recommended it to others. Got some "wows" at the range today with it.

5 of 5 Great Kit September 3, 2019
Reviewer: James Bond from Minot, ND United States
Received kit and 3-25 round mags promplty without issues. Great seller by the way. Kit itself was packaged nicely and 3 magazines along with it. Kit is as easy as everyone states, pull the BCG and drop this one in, done. I used it with my 16 inch 223 wylde pencil barrel upper. 4 types of ammo fed and all performed without issues. The mags did have to be unassembled, deburred and reassembled for proper feeding as I had rtead this elsewhere. Make sure you keep things cleaned and oiled up or you will have issues. I hit around 300 rounds before having issues. I did find out that  the kit does not work well with drop in 1 piece triggers, check for a gap between the hammer and firing pin, if there is a gap you will have misfires and light strikes. I went back to the stock trigger components with lighter springs and JB screw kit to lighten the pull down to 5 lbs. It now costs me .03 cents per round to have fun at the range and will make a perfect 2 gun rifle for indoor competition.
