Enhanced Nickel Teflon Trigger Assembly

Our Enhanced Trigger Assemblies are build on a traditional Mil-Spec foundation with some key upgrades for increased performance. All components are sourced from US .mil contractors that meet or exceed military specifications. Triggers and hammers are made from 8620 steel and properly heat treated. Trigger sear surfaces maintain correct geometry and are polished prior to heat treatment to ensure that surface hardened material is never removed. Triggers, hammers and disconnectors receive our proprietary electroless Nickel Teflon finish for increased lubricity and corrosion protection.

We've taken it a step further and hand selected hammer springs that keep the pull weight on the low end of the spectrum. Every single trigger assembly is checked with a pull gauge to ensure that pull weight is between 5 to 5 1/2 pounds.

PLEASE NOTE: We no longer polish the trigger sear surfaces after the plating process. Sear surfaces are only polished prior to heat treatment. Triggers are already very slick and will polish themselves during regular usage fairly quickly, however, you can polish them yourself with some Flitz (or similar polish) on a flat paper surface. The Nickel Teflon will polish very easily, so do not use sandpaper or anything else abrasive and be careful to not remove any material.

Great Trigger regardless of price. January 17, 2019

Believe it or not this Trigger function as well as the Black Rain Ordnance Drop-In I have. It is smooth, nice reset and the overall feel of this Trigger is great. And it looks nice with that Silver Trigger sticking out. This Trigger didn't cost a lot of money but it sure feels like one that did. Great buy and I am definitely going to purchase several more just to have some on hand. Can't have too much of a good thing.

New build September 29, 2018

I bought two of these trigger assemblies and finally got around to building up a new lower for my 18" .223 Wylde upper. What a difference in comparison to a stock Palmetto trigger. Smooth, no creep or take-up, just the right amount of pull weight for me, time to replace that Palmetto assembly in my other AR. Excellent value for the price!! I will buy at least one more for future builds, no scratch that several more.

RTB enhanced trigger August 16, 2018
Reviewer: Quinn from AZ United States
The GI trigger in one of my carbines wasn't quite as bad as an unlubricated rusty cob, rather more like dragging a sack of sand up a gravel road.  Having some rifles with nice triggers, I couldn't live long with that GI trigger. Coin, however, was in short supply.  Having read some positive reviews of the RTB Enhanced trigger, it seemed worth a try.
This is a good trigger, well worth the asking price (and more).  Nicely finished, polished where it needs to be, no creep nor grit with a clean and crisp break, this trigger far surpasses the GI unit it replaced.  The reset is good, short, positive and audible. This trigger is just what I wanted in a 'working carbine'. If you're looking for an upgrade to your AR trigger but don't want to drop a lot of coin, give this one a try. It's a good one.

RTB trigger June 2, 2018
Reviewer: Eric Moore from Nazareth , PA United States
I’ve used triggers ranging from a Larue MBT, Hiperfire 3G, and some other higher end triggers all the way down to a standard milspec. I am no professional shooter, but this Nickel Teflon trigger from RTB is probably the best single stage I’ve used and for less than half the price of some of the others. I will most definitely be buying again for future builds

Nice trigger for price May 28, 2018

I too have a Kaw Valley spring set and at 4lb pull after install with a little armor' s  grease it has a nice break and good reset.  Had stock trigger that the best I could get was 4.75 and felt like it had a scratch spot with same Kaw springs.  This trigger was the difference for a lighter and smoother pull.
