This 5.56 chambered 16 inch Pencil Barrel is Carbine Length, and is assembled with a barrel nut, handguard end cap, and a pinned gas block. The gas block is a reinforced, double pinned, low-profile FSB-style gas block with a bayonet lug for attachments.

    Well worth the investment

    This is a surprisingly good barrel. It's accurate, and I haven't noticed any accuracy changes when the barrel heats up. Bushmaster ( I believe, I may be wrong, do your own research to confirm) offers this barrel as their QRC Quick Response Carbine barrel at over twice the price I paid at RIghtToBear, so when this barrel becomes available again.....BUY ONE !! I've paired this barrel with a B5 handguard, and later with a Bravo handguard, both fit perfectly. Mine is mounted on an Anderson slick-side upper receiver and the whole upper is extremely light and fast. I skipped the muzzle device debate and went with a thread protector instead and this barrel is incredibly fast handling. Stop looking, click BUY IT NOW right now. You'll thank me later.
