Right To Bear 8" Barrel (300 Blackout)

This .300 Blackout chambered 9 inch barrel is machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel with a QPQ Corrosion Resistant Finish and QPQ coated M4 feed ramp extension.

Quench Polish Quench (QPQ) is a specialized type of nitrocarburizing case hardening that increases corrosion resistance. It is sometimes known by the brand name of Tufftride, Tenifer Black Nitride or Melonite. QPQ is a huge improvement over Chrome Lined barrels. Unlike chrome lining, where the chrome is built up on the surface, QPQ converts the surface without the risk of dimensional build up. The technique is used when two or more of the following properties are required in a work piece:

  • Length - 8"
  • Material - 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium
  • Profile - DRP
  • Finish - QPQ Corrosion Resistant
  • Gas System Length - Pistol
  • Gas Block Journal - .750"
  • Twist Rate - 1:7 inches
  • Muzzle - 5/8x24 Threaded
  • Weight - 19oz

Great value on top of the line quality! March 22, 2018

I bought this barrel to replace a cheap 7.5" black out barrel I had accuracy issues with. The barrel arrived  a day earlier than it was supposed to! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality finish and overall execution of this product! It has a name brand logo and writing nicely marked on the barrel tucked under the gas tube. Not mentioned in the description this is a 5R barrel! I took my newly barreled 300 out to the range and it did not disappoint. I ran 60rds of 125 gr Nosler BT over W296 powder thru it at 100 yards and came up with several nice groups. 3 out of 5 bullets in one hole was not uncommon using a 4x optic. I moved to the 8in steel gong and could ring it with ease from a standing position "cheeking" the kak pistol brace! All in all I am impressed!
