Featuring our new Right To Bear Lightweight 5.56/.223 BCG, weighing in at approximately 8.9 Ounces, or 252.5 Grams for you lightweight build fanatics! Using our low mass Bolt Carrier Group creates less reciprocating mass moving back and forth inside the action, which reduces recoil significantly. Our lightweight carrier also allows proper cycling with less gas. When used in conjunction with an adjustable gas block & a reduced power buffer spring, you can tune the gas way down, which will reduce muzzle rise and carbon build up.

The increased lubricity from the Black Nitride process allows you to take full advantage of its lightweight profile. The slick surface combined with our lightweight carrier, creates very little resistance and allows the rifle to cycle smoother and increases reliability.

    Works, could use improvements

    I bought this carrier because it appears to be one of the only lightweight options that actually fills the whole ejection port. When installed in the rifle there is actually a small hole in the side that allows you to see the firing pin… which allows ingress of foreign material. I paired this on a 14.5 inch mid length 5.56 with a 3 oz buffer and strike Ind. flat spring. It runs perfectly. 223 ejects 3 o clock. 5.56 ejects 2 o clock. Overall a good product. Just minor complaints.

    Awesome

    Built a lightweight build for my niece with this. While rifle with red dot is 6lbs 1.1Oz. Teamed it up with a Wojtek click adjustible gas block. Shoots amazing, she loves it. Rock solid with 8 types of 556/223. About 500 rounds so far.

    Nice light weight bolt

    Picked this up on a deal of the day that came with a few Pmags and I couldn't be happier. Using this for my 300bo and gives the rifle a nice light weight feel with other light weight parts.

    RTB BCG lite

    This is #6 that I've purchased from RTB. I got this one just to have on hand, can't beat the "deal of the day" price on a BCG like this. I've cured three 300 Blackout pistols of poor cycling, failure to feed and bolt not locking back on empty magazine by swapping the heavier carrier with the RTB lightweight carrier paired with the yellow decreased power buffer spring. An added bonus was the reduction in recoil especially with a tunable gas block. So far they've held up well and have performed just as well as carriers triple the cost.

    Tested this BCG with RCA adjustable gas key for a special lightweight build. It is very light and worked perfect. Used a standard carbine spring and no problems at all.

    Great value lightweight BCG

    Been working on putting together a high value, low cost lightweight rifle. Picked this guy up on sale for $99 and I must say that I'm impressed. The nitride finish looks skookum as frig, should have less friction and wear than a standard phosphate finish. Weighs 255g according to my scale, so about 3/4 the weight of a full auto BCG. Running this guy with RTB's lightweight buffer spring, a carbine buffer with the weights removed, and a tuned adjustable gas block, has significantly reduced the the recoil impulse length. The rifle now has a very sharp/fast recoil impulse with much less barrel flip. I can no longer differentiate between the bullet recoil and buffer recoil like I could with a mil-spec setup. Overall you can't go wrong with this BCG, just make sure you run it with the other components, most importantly an adjustable gas block.
